Health and Safety Services

AED Units

An AED is a small, portable device that analyzes the heart's rhythm and prompts the user to deliver a defibrillation if it determines one is needed. For those interested in purchasing an Automated External Defibrillator, the Red Cross can help facilitate the sale.

Lifeline

The American Red Cross promotes the importance of safety and preparedness--an understanding shared by Lifeline, the nation's leading Personal Response service. Since 1995, the American Red Cross and Lifeline have provided this service to over 50,000 seniors and people with disabilities. This allows them to live independently while offering peace of mind to those who care for them. With Lifeline, subscribers have access to assistance 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
