A: Visit the Penn-Jersey Blood Region online, or dial (800) GIVE-LIFE.

Q: What is your United Way Code?

A: Thank you for considering the Southeastern Pennsylvania Chapter as a recipient of your United Way contribution. Our United Way Code is 00003.

Q: How can I enroll in a Red Cross course?

A: Visit our Courses Section, or dial (800) 42-CROSS.

Q: Do you accept donations of clothing and other household items?

A: We do not accept donations of used clothing or other household items. The American Red Cross provides vouchers to families who have lost personal items during a disaster (fire, flood, hurricane, etc) so that they can purchase new items.

Q: Do you accept donated cars?

A: Yes we do! Call 1-800-737-0265 or visit us at www.cars4redcross.com. Qualified respresentatives will walk you through the entire process. Thank you for your gift!

Q: Do you provide pregnancy testing?

A: The American Red Cross does not provide pregnancy testing. However, other organizations in our area do. You may wish to contact United Way's "First Call for Help," which is a referral service that may be able to help you locate an agency that can assist you. You can dial their hotline at (215) 568-3750.

Q: Does the Red Cross have a permanent shelter facility?

A: The American Red Cross often sets up temporary shelters to help people in the aftermath of a large disaster. At this time, our chapter does not have a permanent shelter facility. If you, or someone you know is in need of emergency shelter for non-disaster related reasons, you may wish to contact United Way's "First Call for Help", which is a referral service that may be able to help you locate an agency that provides emergency shelter. Your local Red Cross Chapter is committed to meeting the humanitarian needs of the people in your area, be it in disaster preparedness, disaster relief, first aid and CPR training, or disease prevention. You can help support your local chapter programs and services through a gift to your local Red Cross chapter.

We offer lifesaving education programs such as CPR/AED, Nurse Assistant Training,and First Aid training to keep communities, families, and pets safe.
