Welcome to the November 2009 edition of the Emergency Services newsletter.

From fire prevention to fire response, our Red Cross staff and volunteers have been busy throughout the region, and you'll read all about it in this newsletter. We're coming off a busy Fire Prevention Month in which we reached more than 8,000 families with life-saving fire safety materials. And when the call came in, Red Cross responders were there at the scene of 43 local disasters to help 149 people with emergency relief.

Thank you for all that you do for the American Red Cross.

All the best,

Tom Foley
