Welcome to Red Cross Month!

For nearly 70 years, March has been declared National Red Cross month, and you'll read in this month's newsletter how we intend to mark the occasion this year. You'll also read about the latest efforts to respond to the earthquakes in Chile and Haiti.

All of this work is made possible by the hard work of Red Cross staff and volunteers every day. Just last month, we responded to 70 disasters, providing emergency help to 265 people when they needed it most.

Many thanks to all of you for making it possible to do our work.

All the best,

Tom Foley
