SEPA Chapter was honored and proud to host the American Red Cross President and CEO Gail McGovern during her visit to Philadelphia on April 10th.
Did you know that following every fatal fire in our region, we hand out fire safety materials in the neighborhood surrounding the fire? The fire safety kits contain vital information about preparing for a fire and a battery for your smoke alarm.
From preparing to response to recognition, your local Red Cross was busy in 2011. Check out our top 25 accomplishments for the year.
We are on call 24/7 to provide emergency relief and follow-up care for victims of disaster. We also assist military families through the SAF program. All emergency services are free of charge.
We offer lifesaving education programs such as CPR/AED, Nurse Assistant Training,and First Aid training to keep communities, families, and pets safe.
We reconnect families separated by disaster or conflict, provide instruction on International Humanitarian Law, and help other Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies build vital programs.
The American Red Cross empowers children through disaster preparedness education, health and safety trainings, and after-school Red Cross Clubs.
